Leaving the country with less energy available just when it was needed the most.

And how come nobody wants to talk about what happens to the wind turbine blades when they expire ?
There is no recycling program established for them , so they get buried into the ground.
Where's the "savings" from all this.

How much energy do they net? Can't be that great if without substantial government help, no one is building these. Same with solar.

My state has literally thousands of wind turbines and have never heard of them freezing up in the Winter. Never heard of them causing cancers either.

Our wind turbines are made in state and provide hundreds of jobs. Also hundreds of construction jobs installing them. Then their is the rent the farmers collect for being on their land. Win Win Win.

I tend to agree, but it'll take political will and a massive propaganda campaign to get people comfortable with the idea. Good thing the establishment has been getting lots of practice.
