I'd pay money to see that. With " Bubba " as his cellmate.Of course they're deathly innocent. This'll also be another tool to use against the hourlies as far as any raises are concerned. Might be worth it though to see Fred in an orange jumpsuit.

Well like someone here said the other day, the only difference between Bernie Madoff and Fred are their living arrangements. That's one of the advantages of a corporation. It shields exec's from criminal prosecution unless they do something especially heinous such as the Enron scandal or Bernie Madoff. Usually it's just the company paying a fine to the government.

So they are just supposed to look the other way when they know illegal shipments are going through the system? Why do you think there is a strict policy about wine shipments?I can't help to agree with Fedex:
FedEx finds itself a target of a criminal probe after decades of working with law enforcement agencies to combat attempts to use its network illegally. An indictment or prosecution would threaten a basic tenet of the shipping business -- not opening customers’ packages to see what’s inside, FedEx said.
“Settlement is not an option because we haven’t done anything wrong,”
I guess snooping on calls and email isn't enough. Now all boxes must be opened. As if there isn't illegal goods going through the USPS.
UPS chose to write a check and put this behind them.

Which is a good indicator of how this corporation thinks. "It's just the Federal Government, they can't do **** to us." 99.9% of corps. would've done the same as UPS. Just not this one.

It's not illegal if it shipped by a licensed online pharmacy to a customer with a prescription. There is an approval process for shippers to ship wine through FedEx. If alcohol is found to be shipped by an unapproved shipper it is supposed to be destroyed. For many years FedEx has looked the other way knowing that most of these online pharmacies were not operating legally but because the money was flowing it was all good until they got investigated for it. They work with the feds day in and out over this. The only way you will ever know is opening boxes and then how can a driver confirm a pill is what it says it is? I know one can buy generic viagra that gets delivered via USPS, all illegal to US laws. Why not fine the USPS as well?
