Another oil rig blows up!

In your attempt to shed negative light on Obama's moratorium, your effort to have us conclude this particular rig that exploded was an oil producer, and if fully staffed, it could have been prevented is simply a hypothetical assumption. Now talking about a drilling platform(oil producers), or pumping stations, I'm sure there are regulations in place whereas the rig is either fully staffed or the Company is violating safety regulations....reguardless, accidents still happen, especially when shortcuts are introduced to cut cost.....I'm sorry your feelings are a general representation of the Right Wing in this Country, however these desperate attempts of making every set back as Obama's Waterloo is clearly transparent.....Now I'll be the hypocrite and assume, that's your motivation.....:peaceful:

So you start out in agreement with me then you break down in your normal, typical, angry rant. Hope you find a way to get that vitriol worked out.

BTW many of those platforms do not even have people on them. Just a thought for ya.

My point was how badly the state governor of LA handled the BP crises.
Complaining like hell, the clean up effort was not large enough, and the feds doing too little, but also complaning he needed the oil workers back to work.
So, nearly a second oil disaster now...

Is this suppose to be an endless story : We wanna drill, drill, drill, and demand from the feds, please clean, clean , clean after us ?
The oil spill was the fed govts problem, they needed to respond and failed miserably. It was in the waters, not on the land.......So Jindal had to wait on the government, elementary.

But the problem was the federal government was blocking most of his efforts to contain and clean up the oil spill so that could not really be your point.
LA would have had it stopped before it hit the shore, had their hands not been tied.
As for the Katrina hurricane, that was LA first, govt second, they also failed miserably, such as getting the people out. Now whos fault was that.? A democrat mayor......................and people waiting for the govt to save them, mostly the ones who look at the govt for everything.

Yeah, except the functioning platforms that have been blowing up lately, have people on them...

Typical angry rant ? Mild, compared what we've been hearing from the Angry Right for two tears now since the majority of the country fired the disgraced Republicans due to utter failure in the 08 elections. Here's the new trend, when mis-information is corrected with the truth, or a poster is offering an opposite opinion, or someone who doesn't back down to Conservatives, is now considered the village angry, hateful person.....

Wow, this sounds like an apology to BP, like that Tx Rep Joe Barton......
Blame Obama for BP's manmade disaster, blame a Democrat Mayor for a natural diseaster in the form of Hurricane Katrina....Tooner, you left the part out where it took 5 days for the Bush Gov't to respond to it's own suffering and dying Citizens...even outside foreign countries looking in were mortified of the lack of treatment the US Gov't dealt with their own.
Blame the Feds, cause there's a Democrat in the House......Not BP, and not Bobby Jindal and the state of La. who have no emergency back up plans since Offshore rigs have been around the state since the 50's.

Never mind that you haven't been correcting anything just more anger from you. Does it have something to do with your new teabagging fetish? Relax and enjoy the last summer holiday. There will be plenty of time for more of your baseless anger filled rants.
