Some time before UPS I used to work in a restoration shop and built a lot of Sheby GT Mustangs. Was a pretty cool opportunity. Sometimes I wish I was still there.

You can't really go wrong investing in an old car, so long as it is the right car. They hold value. The more you do to the more they increase in value.
Only problem nowadays is you have all there shows out there where they fix them and flip them. A lot of people are getting into it now and it's driving the prices up on all classic cars.
And those cars are pieces of crap.


You simply can't redo a car in a week or two.

If you had an old Corvette, as an example, and the original or a copy of the original build sheet, you could check the serial numbers of all the major components on the car to the build sheet numbers.


Dave couldn't do that. He don't know how to open a hood.
