Anyone break a diad?

Call me when you launch one through the windshield. Much harder story to get the center manager to believe you didn’t do it on purpose. Also broke the glass cover on the old speedometers a few times. “Accidentally” dropped a hand truck full of paper on one, it went bye bye.

First day on the job I dropped it 8 separate times. Few weeks ago it dropped probably 7 feet into a shallow puddle of water. I also use it to knock on residential doors when there's no doorbell. Still works fine.

Walking back from delivering, the neighbor opened his door and his pit bull went straight for me. Threw the diad as hard as I could, missed hit the concrete but still scared the dog off. The board kept rebooting and beeping at me.

Didn’t have to pay for it either, they have told us to do what I did if a dog ever charges you.

Wow. I thought they were indestructible until now. My board once went tumbling down two flights of stairs, didn’t even scratch it.

Paper time cards and no barcodes. Pulling the perforated red and blue Next Day Air and 2nd day tags. No shipper number just a tag. You counted them up at end of day turn in.
