The public perception of unions and union workers has been drug through the mud after the uaw crap,dont understand how working class people can be so sympathetic to billion dollar company's.if ups were in bad financial shape or if the economy were in the toilet they would have an excuse. Bottom line is the company should pay what ever it can afford period.and as far as language issues go that's why we have a cba,to collectively bargain,bargain means get the best deal possible in all aspects.
