This would be out west if I have an optional then work 5 additional days would the 6th shift be ot??
I think it would be like a Holiday. You have to work 5 days before getting paid OT on your 6th day.

Can't speak for west, but Southern Supplement optional days, like holidays, count as a punch/report for OT purposes. 6 reports is 6 reports, with OT given on the 6th report.
In the Central Region you have to work the days. So if you work a vacation week is it paid as all OT?
An optional day is calculated separate. It does not count toward any overtime pay. This is something a 1st year employee should understand.......

Just taking it to the extreme. Worked a lot of vacations and was never paid OT for them.
Here's another one for ya, I have to dig deep as I don't take days off but do work 6 punches on Saturday, which all of these include.

So by your thought process I should have 48hrs at regular and 10.67 OT, I mean please correct me if I'm wrong because, well I'm a first year employee and all.
I would guess vacations are handled differently, I wouldn't know as I cash out vacations if I'm not going to take them so lower seniority drivers have a better chance at good weeks and I don't screw a brother/sister over by coming in on scheduled time off.

Judging by your hours and the fact you work your vacations I'm thinking it sucks to be you. To each his own.
Nah, I choose to work balls out, if I hated it I wouldn't do it. It allows me to have options most other drivers won't.
