Wait until Wal-Mart buys FedEx. Better sharpen up on those cart pushing skills. And BTW, you won't be able to do that job from mom's basement.

With my position, I'd get a VBO. Would be able to live comfortably in mom's basement, then move up to the rest of the house when she dies.

Would strongly recommend St. Augustine. Beautiful old scenic town. Plenty of things to do, beaches are beautiful. Kinda touristy but it's mostly nice quiet families and not kids looking for bars or wet t contests. If you have time, u can stroll down to Flagler/Daytona/New Symrna Beach as well.

Oldest city in the US.
Not a great beach choice in February though.
