Bernie Sanders and the establishment DNC

Let me preface this by saying I'm an independent and did not vote for either Trump or Clinton in the previous election. With that said....

Can any Democrats on this site please explain to me why the establishment Democratic party along with its allies at CNN, MSNBC, NBC and ABC are trying so hard to destroy the campaign of the one candidate who, at this moment, poses the greatest challenge for Trump to defeat?

Bernie Sanders has amassed a huge movement of middle-class workers, socialist-indoctrinated Gen Z'ers and millennials, African-Americans, Latinos and women who have rallied behind his message. Meanwhile, the DNC is a fractured party that has had no real leadership since Obama left office and has spent the last 4 years on a boondoggled Russia investigation and a useless impeachment that did nothing but make Trump's public approval ratings the highest after this acquittal.

They have thrown their support behind old white multi-millionaire status-quo politicians who spend more time catering to transgender bathroom rights and padding their stock portfolio than the plight of the American worker. Their lead candidate doesn't even know what state he's campaigning in half the time while Speaker Pelosi looks like she's slowly losing control of her mental faculties.

Democratic "leadership" right now consists of tearing up State of the Union speeches, wasting taxpayer dollars on a pointless impeachment and conducting debates that have the biggest lineup of non-candidates in American history.

The entire identity of the party right now is that of destroying Trump yet they try to derail the one candidate who could give them a fighting chance. And don't even get me started on Tulsi Gabbard. I guess she made too much sense for the mainstream Democrats to support...

Bernie isn’t electable. Their whole plan is to put someone who appears moderate on the ticket and cash in on Orange man bad.

I don’t have much faith in the America voters, it could honestly work imo.

But that would be a reason for them to support him, right? Or do they not support him because most democrats are pinko, whereas Bernie is a flaming Red, Stalin-loving, gulag-approving, party-loyalist comrade communist, and they wither under the searing heat of his hatred for individual liberty?

The Democratic Party doesn’t like Bernie because he’s not a Democrat. He’s not a member of the party. He refuses to fundraise with the party. He’s attempting to hijack the party for his own gain. This isn’t terribly complicated.
As to the rest of your rambling, you seem to embrace the right wing propaganda presentation of the Democratic Party. Tulsi, lol.

As has been noted above, Sanders is not a democrat, so why should the DNC support him over actual democrats? He's also not electable in the general, I mean I think Trump will probably win regardless because it's almost impossible to beat an incumbent in a good economy but the dem's best shot is a moderate who can appeal to swing voters in places like PA, OH, WI, etc, all states that went for Obama before they went for Trump. You won't win those folks back by running a wild eyed socialist who wants to burn down the system. And Tulsi? Gimme a break. She might be the only one who would get clubbed worse than Sanders in the general, and make no mistake Sanders will be clubbed like a baby seal.

She's a loon. She's currently trying to sue both Google and Hillary Clinton. I'm no fan of people who file lawsuits every time they get mad at someone. The only people you ever hear talking up Tulsi for the nomination are people who would never vote for her anyway, which is telling.

So Clinton can actually say that Gabbard is a Russian operative without consequences? And it's a fact that Google manipulated searches for her after the first debate that caused her to lose donations. Apparently if the rich and powerful are liberals they can trounce all over anyone.

I don't care for her politics but she's a damn fine looking woman with a military bearing. Democrats ought to get over comments she made about gays and realize she might actually be THE woman who can win the White House, although doubtful against Trump.

She has literally no national following in the Democratic Party. She would get creamed by Trump with no base support.
