Trump asks Saudi Arabia to increase oil production

President Trump tweeted on Saturday that Saudi's King Salman has agreed to pump more oil. Saudi Arabia confirmed the two leaders spoke but did not say if the kingdom would produce more crude.

It's Canadian and it's not crude oil. It's bitumen and it's hard to clean up.
Now if you had been paying attention you would certainly remember that during the height of the pandemic crude oil was trading at -$35 a barrel. That's right. If you Wally were an oil driller you would have had to PAY the refiner $35 per barrel to refine your oil.

Domestic drillers have made it clear that they're not going to get caught in that position again and 60 bucks is what THEY want from YOU before they're going to set up their rigs and start drilling in earnest again.

In addition OPEC has made it clear that they like 60 buck oil too and will not put any additional oil on the market beyond the agreed to 400,000 barrels a day.
