Right hear on the Brown Cafe you have Union members calling Unions socialist. Voting for Right to Work politicians. Some of you are Unions worse enemy at the same time you take Union benefits.
And what some of them can't seem to understand is that a union does it best to successfully negotiate a contract that will serve all of it's member in the best overall way. They do not negotiate individual contracts that best serves the demands of individual members . That is what some on here seem to believe it should e doing.

The Union has sold out first the PT and now new package car drivers so the rest of the UPS Union members can enjoy the highest payrates in the industry. Sure I love having a $38/hr PT job at expense of $20/hr delivery drivers working 12 hour days.

This is part of the two prong UPS strategy . They know that the older drivers are simply sliding along to retirement and would never strike in defense of the younger workers who live from paycheck to paycheck and lack the economic firewalls required to get through a protracted strike.
Furthermore in the 97 strike Clinton played it cool and didn't get involved because he knew that the Teamsters had a federal judge someplace in the country lined up to hit him with an injunction the moment he ordered a return to work.

Trump on the other hand would have sent them back to work within the hour..... And this is the guy Union Strong and scores like him voted for.

UPS drivers aren't Federal employees. Does the president have the power to order them back to work?

Depends on the circumstances of the country, national emergency yes he can
I'm not certain but I think it has to be essential to national security. It's why we have the Railroad Labor Act, because railroads were deemed essential to national security. Couldn't afford wildcat strikes here and there crippling the entire system. Not sure that can be applied to UPS drivers though.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

I’m not 100% certain either but under emergency powers it gives extraordinary latitude.
