I've lived in Oklahoma. Most Native American Oklahomans are of mixed ancestry. And when most of their native ancestors were forcibly removed from their homes it was thought that Oklahoma was worthless land that nobody wanted but oil and gas changed that. And it does depend on the tribe. The Mescalero Apaches in New Mexico like to say "The Navajos make rugs, the Hopis make pots, but the Apaches make money."
At any rate you're not going to make the Republican Party a big tent party by telling smaller groups of people that you're from a bigger group and can do as you please. That your word means little.
You didnt address the destructive nature of these reservational treaties in your response. I started my recent responses by asking where the german tribe is located. We dont seperate other groups from the great melting pot. This country has a very racist process of trying seperate specific groups of people indians and blacks the two greatest examples and the results have been economically disaterous.
the political party that loves to seperate the groups is never challenged on their extreme acts of racism that have kept these groups oppressed.
The republican party should do a better job of reminding these groups that the dems are the ones that are keeping them down.
in republican run cities they should paint black lives matters on the streets in front of an abortion clinic.
