At one point I agreed with republicans on fiscal responsibility and democrats on most social issues but those lines have become blurred and think both parties suck. Both just pandering to their base.

I also saw the video evidence of Jan 6th where the Capitol police were getting beaten yet had to put up with some who claimed the mob was welcomed in with open arms.

It seems that the port backup is still growing despite some rules being relaxed.
But most of the issues not mentioned were CA's own regulations concerning trucks.
CA AB5 Independent Contractor Law and the CA Air Quality Rule ( smog check ).

New rules will require these big trucks, including ones from other states passing through Califonria — to be tested at least four times per year to make sure they meet the state's standards for particulate matter and ozone pollution.
Fining out-of-state vehicles will decrease the amount of vehicles that could be used to decrease the backups.

Next year, regulators are poised to tighten emission standards for barges, ferries, fishing boats and tugboats that line California's coastal cities.

We're close to Reno, NV so thought we could just cross the border to buy chainsaws, snowblowers, lawn mowers etc.

California license= NO deal.

She said it was their fault for not beefing up their security.

But isn't it her job to keep the crooks in jail and away from committing more crime ?

( In case anyone wants to complain about why Chicago is constantly being used as an example of crime, they have become the case study example of what other poorly run democratic cities will become. )
