Can I work at both UPS & FedEx at the same time?

So, I have a job offer from both FedEx and UPS to be a package handler for them. I am a current college student, so of course I'm looking for a nice job for the money.

My UPS facility is offering me a $14 an hour job from 12-430pm Sunday-Thursday, and the FedEx facility is offering $15.50 an hour Monday-Friday from 6pm-1030pm.

Would I be able to work both or would they fire me due to a conflict of interest or something?

Hypothetically, would I be able to use the tuition reimbursement at both?
Ho work both jobs so you can hate both places instead of just one.

Why will you work at UPS?

Pros of working at FedEx:

1. Excellent pay
2. Good benefits
3. Helpful management
4. Good coworkers
5. Flexibility
6. Buffeteria.
7. A sense of purpose in your life

Need I go further??

Pros of working at UPS:
1. There is none.

Not to sound like a concerned mom, but will this work with your school schedule? I'd be less concerned with the sorts overlapping (although I'm sure this will happen), than with you absolutely hating your life busting your ass loading trailers for 4x10's and 2x5 hour shifts, while trying to pack in school. I'd personally just be worried about burning yourself out taking on both jobs at the same time.

Edit: :censored2: me just saw the original post date.

Pros of working at UPS would be I don’t have to go through the embarrassment of telling friends and family that I work at FedEx.

You can do whatever the heck you want when you clock out.

We have a guy that gets off preload at 9am then drinks until he passes out. We have other guys that go drive for Amazon. If UPS wants to prevent their PT employees from having 2nd jobs then UPS can offer them FT employment.

Amazon and FedEx are probably the biggest 2nd employers of UPS employees.

Nothing to see here.... Move along.
That dude has since been fired from both and failed out of college.

Out of all the threads...

This gets bumped to the top?

1. Where? At headquarters?
2. Umm, what planet are you living on?
3. SOME helpful management. Definitely a much friendlier hourly/management relationship.
4. Mostly good coworkers. Many newbies are weird.
5. Hahahahahahahaha!
6. Again, where? Headquarters?
7. Who needs to work at FedEx for a sense of purpose in life.

Hopefully, you’re just trying to be funny, because your post IS funny.

I hated power cleans. Definitely more technique than pure strength. Best I could get was 255lb. Couldn't drop down quick enough to go higher.
I don't do them, never have. My coach in high school hated them, said he saw too many guys get hurt. He played canadian football for a handful of years, guessing saw his share of weight rooms.

Wait... He played Canadian football and you listened to his advice? I bet you listen to Magic Johnson about how you don't need to wear condoms... :)
Sounds like cardio

Back in the 80's a had a co-worker at UPS ( twilight ) take a job at USPS ( mail distribution center- Midnight to mornings ).
Later on he starting working as a mail carrier ( days ).
Many night at UPS , we would let him sleep standing up and double up our work loads to cover for him.
The P/T sups didn't mind since we finished on time.
A far as I know , he is still working both jobs.
