I'm currently a part-timer. I've been on the PT to FT driver list a while and have been informed that it is very likely I will be given a FT driving opportunity by this coming peak season. I will have two weeks of vacation acrued starting in september of this year (2008), mind you that is PT vacation. I've heard that UPS will try and cash me out of my vacation if i go FT driving. Is this true? If thats the case I will be working a straight two years without any vacation time. At this point the monetary value of my vacation is not nearly as important as the TIME value. A person just needs time off every now and again. Will they really take away my vacation time?
