Personally, I really doubt that UPS actually pays alot of claims that they say they do, maybe it takes an attorney to get your money.
Well i got off the phone with Claims they told me that UPS security told them to not pay the claim with no further explanation, she was able to get me a Phone# for Security i called it nobody answered i left a message and no one has returned my calls Looks like UPS just Screwed me out the cost of my camera
and now im left with a CC bill and nothing to show for it
Call you CC company and dispute the charge.
If it was sent to security theyre probably expecting foul play at somepoint, because it got a out for delivery scan so we have a timeline of where the camera was last then poof gone, Id wait to hear back what security says, I wouldnt expect anything till next week though
Well i Don't want to do that the guy i bought it from would be screwed out of his money, it's wasnt his fault someone in UPS has Sticky fingers or someone else for that matter here is what i have on the day it went out
Package Progress Location Date Local Time Description PALATINE,

not much else i can do i just wish somebody would call me to let me know what's happening![]()
Ok
So i Finally received a call from UPS security (only after i called the claims dept everyday to ask why nobody from UPS security would return my call) According to the guy i talked to he talked with the company who was supposed to get the package, and as predicted they told him they never received my package he then told me that i would need to speak to another investigator and to call back on the 14th well i called and i left a message but as usual no one is returning my calls, i called UPS claims back and they said until i speak with the other security person they wont be able to process the claim, i said i have been leaving messages but no one is calling me back she said sorry but there was nothing more she could do
it looks like to me that UPS is trying not to pay on the claim so as long as they Don't return my calls they can keep using that excuse

Before I was employed with UPS I worked as a shipping clerk for a small business. It was very rare that I had to file an insurance claim, but on a very few occasions I did. I hate to bad mouth my own company, but they tried everything they could to not pay out my claims. I had to prove with receipts that my shipment was actually worth the value I insured it at. They then sent an investigator to my place of business. They then ignored my inquiries about the claims for months. And I finally had to threaten them to take my business elsewhere (FedEx or DHL) to get them to pay up.
UPS security called me late today they said they were releasing the claim on it's end BUT that the local UPS security would be handling it now, I'm really confused now, if they couldn't find the package on there end why are they coming back this way. I just Don't Understand![]()
At this point i would be happier to get my package back, i know the Peeps at the claims Dept are sick of me calling all the time, i just hope something is resolved soon![]()
