The polar ice caps could advance all the way back to New York, and they'd still be claiming man made global warming did it.

Holding strong, ten years after the ice was supposed to be gone. When Al Gore was born there were 7000 polar bears. Now there are only 30,000 left.

power works best when its afraid. all of the guys i listen to are in favor of more democracy ie less centralized power because of its corrupting influence. its like the ring. hope this makes sense to you.

That does make sense. Except it doesn't have anything to do with the post you responded to. I'm glad your guys are moving away from that socialism nonsense and more towards a representative republic.

Although, decentralized power isn't very effective at dealing with existential threats, like global warming. How do your guys reconcile their favoring decentralized power with the need for coordinated efforts to deal with large scale threats?
