Agree but he's no Hoover either ... he doesn't have the cards Hoover did and he doesn't seem to know how to play them either.
He does seem like a decent guy and for Washington, he is well above average in character.

You need to watch the full testimony.
Anything that would have been detrimental to him, "I can't answer that."
And how about, "That's nonsense but I can't tell you why."
He came away looking like a politician and not a taker of the high road ... his morality is smeared if not damaged.
He is still so far above average for a Politician that he still looks good in Washington.
I'm sure he will do fine in some Legal Firm.
