Hi Scratch! Not in Roswell but close. P-dale. Remember talking to you awhile back about me getting your old center manager. I think he's back with you now. Off to work with the new DIAD. Wish me luck! (I need that everyday...not just with a new DIAD)

Yeap, he is back, gigantic improvement over the one before. The new D5 should be fine after you use it a few times, I know I won't miss the Shift Key. We are adjusting to telematics, its like getting a raise the way I see it. I'm walking off some long driveways I used to go down and going all the way down to the end of the street to turn around instead of backing into the end of the driveway. My feet are wearing out and I get slower during the week.

Scratch, I'll bet he's happy to be back. He had a long round trip drive to our center daily. We definitely miss him here. Lots of things that used to be important just don't seem that important anymore here. Agreed on telematics. I just pretend that my boss is on my shoulder (kinda like the bad angel LOL) watching me all day long. Hear you about the driveways. We had some guys get caught going into resi driveways nose first more than 30 times a day. Telematics has some serious flaws but it for sure corrected alot of bad driver habits. The new DIAD was great today. It's pretty much the same as the DIAD 4 but without the annoying shift key and much much lighter. Not sure what I think about the tether attached to the stylus. Just don't see how that will hold up over time. The thing will practically scan all labels and at varying angles. The flashlight seems much brighter (it's white instead of red) than the one with the DIAD 3. Also like being able to use the touch screen select menu options as well as DR'ing packages. So far, I'm liking the new DIAD. Defintely an improvement over the 4. We'll see how durable it is. Haven't dropped mine....yet.
