Diesel fuel shortage: Why is no one talking about this?

DriveInDriveOut

Inordinately Right
I actually work at a company that uses quite a bit of diesel fuel.
No mention of any upcoming shortages...

Total expense grew 7%.
Wages and benefits contributed about 310 basis points of the increase, driven by the annual increase for our Teamster employees that went into effect in August. Fuel drove 220 basis points of the expense growth rate increase due primarily to the rise in price per gallon compared to last year. And the remaining variance was driven by multiple factors, including maintenance and depreciation. Cost in U.S.

Exactly...low supply, high demand.
And you’d like to blame Biden?

It wasn’t really 25 days the way the republicans were framing it, was it?

That's not much of a victory. The Republicans didn't make up the number, they repeated what the industry was saying. And those high diesel costs are passed on to the consumers. Biden won't be taking victory laps.
Oh stop. The industry puts those numbers out all the time and they even explain exactly what the number means to anyone who will listen or ask. That’s not what the republicans were doing. They were trying to scare people.

The industry says we're nearly out of diesel all the time? Uh-huh. We have a low supply of diesel, heating oil, and kerosene with winter coming on and an administration that's hostile to the oil industry. The Republicans don't have to fear monger.

Bidens policies have ensured that we're still pumping a million less barrels a day than pre covid(trump years)
you know he's doing it and you know he refuses to meet with oil producers to get them to produce more .

That is the only political strategy the Republicans have. Which is too bad because I believe in the two party system.
the republicans proved their strategy during the last terms with self sufficient oil production and 2 dollar a gallon gas.

we're you napping during that time?
