Ops manager said freight was flowing through Memphis again and since freight would be on time, Response was being eliminated.

No it's not eliminated at your (your wife's, to be correct) station. 4 of the response routes that were in extended areas were eliminated as the station was granted an exception for those extended zip codes. The rest of the response routes are all still in place.

It is true that the 4 response couriers who no longer have routes are being given delivery areas to assist already in place AM routes.
