You gotta try & stay 10 more years. It will be awesome.. we can call you Fitty Cent
Don't plan to.

Don't care what you call me.

What matters(not you).......is that I'd make a cool mill if that happened and we'd have free insurance(if things stayed the same)....

65 is normal retirement age by most standards. Really 67.

I agree. It will be awesome.

It's not a 120k job.

It's a 80k job with 40k of overtime.

Not quite the same thing.
Well....

But then $80k+$40k=$120k....exactly the same thing.

Say....so....a $120k job....is that salary? With no real limits on "overtime"? Like our Mgt.? Their W2 says $120k but work 100 hours a week...

Please explain/clarify.

It's quite clear.

A 120k job is a blessing.

An 80k job with 40k of overtime is a curse.

If it were easy everyone would try to do it.

You can't make $600,000 a year as a neurosurgeon without putting in some crazy hours for a lot of your career. It's part of the deal.
I didn't say it was easy.

I said it was a curse.

And for most drivers, it is. Their bodies and their families are in rough shape for decades. My point in a thread like this is that most young people should consider that before diving in.

Driving is great for a young guy to sock away money for a while. It's a terrible way to have a career.
