Once had a customer that wanted to insure a 10k check. Sup was with me. He said you can insure it but it won't do you any good. We can only insure the value of the actual contents. So while the check was written for 10k it was only worth a few cents.

UPS will pay the stop payment fee on the check. And if there is fee to reissue the check

Homeowner probably conveniently left out the part about his 3 pitbulls trying to break thru the front door to get to the driver. If people have dogs and I feel threatened they are trying to get outside, I drop the package where I am, and roll. I don't care where it's left. It's on your property, I'm sure you'll find it.

We do this under orders, in parts of the 177 when it snows. Bag and leave by the end of driveway. Work as directed. Bagging and doing this sometimes takes as much time as driving up.
