That is a very common position taken by many churches and denominations.
It was always a bit confusing to me which parts of the Old Testament was scripture and which was apocryphal in nature.

correct but you have to remember who something was written to and why.

These all talk about the old law, and how we are released from it. We are under grace now

not really. It is common in many churches but not all nor is it a requirement. OT IS for our edification and learning so it is important, but Christians can not use OT for doctrine.

again, depends on the church. Liturgical services are scripted and follow an exact order of worship, but what that script is depends upon the individual church.

Not all Churches or denominations accept your definition as part of their liturgy.
