During a final offer...

Are all elections 2/3rds majority?

In what scenario is an offer not final?

Why is there language explaining WHEN and WHY a 2/3rds rule is to be invoked?

If it’s a final offer, why isn’t freight on strike?

But if it’s a final offer then they should be on strike.

They were both final offers, as defined by the IBT Constitution. Just because they voted theirs down does not mean they have to strike, there are options, because enough of them gave a :censored2: enough to vote. They can go on strike without further discussion, or they may go back and renegotiate.

Although our contract is "ratified," Taylor and crew may go back and further negotiate for us as well, but we will not have a say in what further negotiations are agreed upon.
