E-Star* Update!

Again, I’m don’t mean forging anything. I’d get the person’s actual signature and time when signed. If that’s lying I don’t understand how.

And again, for all morons who may be trying to read this (and there are lots, apparently), I’d do this only on stops that were out of E-star order. any GPS data would accurately show my location.

As for adding time to my route, I’ll have to see how much. Half an hour would be ok.

And you call ME an idiot.

This is still falsifying. You are an idiot who's unfit for the job. Your dumb-ass got caught lying and some incredibly unlikely and undeserved stroke of luck kept you employed. As for E star just run the route exactly as planned and make management eat the consequences like they eat their glue for breakfast. The god awful routing and ordering of stops means you can't be blamed for service failure and late P1, you should be happy. It's literally going to give you overtime so why try to make more work for yourself?

Also Express ASR in the near future is going to require you to scan a ID or input a date of birth, so any written record you would have is going to be useless at that point.

Well jerk, I’m quite fit for the job. And when ASR scans are required, I’ll get them. As for OT, I’d definitely take it, but not if it makes my workday dramatically longer. E-star sounds as if it’s destined to implode, anyway. If bending to its yoke is required, I’ll reluctantly do it.

And you, like many here, struggle under the delusion that I was “caught” lying. Simply untrue. If anything happens again I’ll just tell it like it happened and take a letter. It’s comforting to be among so many morally pure people who’ve never made a bad decision out of fear. Kindly teach me to walk on water like you do.

How long have you been at the job, Shart? And does shartpost mean something or was it a typo?

You were caught in a lie and were inexplicably spared a termination. Buy some lottery tickets before the next time you lie about an accident you couldn't have prevented. I don't expect Estar or pee stain or whatever to last long. Your delusions will wear off before then in the unemployment line.

Fair enough. I’m all but certain my first story would have held up. I just had second thoughts minutes later and decided I couldn’t lie. The camera didn’t register anything.

Rookie, watch your following distances.

I didn’t know this…..what if I just scan my license because I’m over 21?

Rookie. Watch your damn mirrors and truck dimensions. You are still unfit no matter what you think.

Given that a lot of people will refuse to furnish or not even have a ID to scan, you can still input a date of birth manually. It's not yet in effect but it's going to slow down a lot of people once implemented, and piss off even more people on the receiving side.

Alright, rook.
We’re simply going to disagree forever on that one. Amazing the luck I’ve had these eight years, fooling everybody at work. I’m going to write a screenplay.

According to Estar, your route isn't more efficient...
Just like DRA, you are expected to stay within a certain % of the "plan"
That assume your Zeros' are some how factored in as well as addresses that show up in random areas on the map(I have an aparment complex and the dots show up in 5 or 6 places on my map about 4 miles away from the actual location.
We're not allowed to take zeros or response freight but because we're a heavy on call station it doesn't take long before we're off the scheduled estar plan. Someone say there're only dumbing down the routes so anyone can do them. Could that mean in 5 or 6 year, or sooner lol, the next set of employees hired will be given zero benefits no health, pension, vacation etc like Amazon? It's possible fedx has done the analytics and discovered the couriers that helped grow the company in the 90's will be eligible for retirement in 5 years or so and will see them off by replacing them with a new wave of Amazon type people....young, living at home and no desire of having a family.. day to day folks.

That's what happens when heartless, soulless formerly human beings run the company.

Superiority complexes are the first signpost.

Right, @59 Dano ?

Yeah, I don’t know what geniuses decided the best way forward is to have the least loyal and dedicated employees possible.
I guess that’s the easier route than suggesting to pay better.
This just leads to a brain drain and complete lack of an internal talent pool.

Upper management has this stupid idea that these green off the vine, fly by night kids are gonna tolerate all the crap that they like throwing at couriers. Someone that’s sent out already over capacity then gets a bunch of on-call pickups dumped on him or her is not going to think twice about quitting mid-shift. Dispatch will need to get used to seeing messages like “enough of this crap, I’d rather flip burgers. I quit, come get the vehicle.”

Raj & Richard are in for a rude awakening.

Managers only get to ask 3 questions now when interviewing potential new hires.

"Will you show up, shut up and get in the truck? You're hired."

Just say the customer flagged me down as you drove by... you had to deliver the purple promise because who would tell a customer "I have your package but you can't have it...."
If it's not a P1, I tell the customer I'm not sure, I haven't put that part of my truck in order yet. If they ask, and they have, you don't know what stops you have? I simply say I have 140+ a day, I can't remember every single one.

That's 1 question.

I'll change the punctuation just for you.

"Will you show up? Shut up? Get in the truck? You're hired."

BTW, you use too many commas in your run-on sentences. I understand them but you might have to use some periods to break them up into proper sentences.

That's too much extra work to lie to the customer(I deliver and be on my way faster than trying to explain anything to them), we have an acceptable % of standalones, they just happen to be pushing it this time of year, just like hour breaks last month... same thing for the past umpteen years.
