Empty Shelves

You’re so right how silly of me. I see Target looters ripping stuff on the shelves at Walmart all the time so they can go resell it on Facebook market place and offer up to boost their quarterly strong armed robbery numbers.
its not the kind which the news covers. michael hudson dipped into white collar crime.

2008 financial crisis was a giant looting.

I know you socialists hate the military, but here’s what they’re experiencing.

I can tell you from years of experience that military commissaries and exchanges make their their vendors jump through alot of hoops, and seemingly go out of their way to treat them like crap.

Therefore, any excuse that can be made to not service, or under-provide a military installation is happily seized upon.

No vendor I have ever known, including myself, has anything good to say about servicing military installations.

That fact pleases me.

The goods and grocery supply chain at a military base nearby me is also suffering.

And as it is where I am at, the article mentions that the shelves are much better stocked in town.

Gee. I wonder why that is?

Just sayin' maybe the shelves wouldn't be so empty if the people (federal employees and civilians) who work at and run the commissaries and exchanges didn't treat their outside service providers like crap.

They treat the couriers of UPS, FedEx, and other service providers like crap, too.

It is sad that military families suffer due to the toxicity of those who are responsible for ensuring their well-being.

Military bases have always been lacking when it comes to keeping supplied. I remember when I was getting ready to leave Vietnam and I decided I wanted to buy a movie camera at the PX over there. I picked out the model I wanted and the clerk went to a stack of them behind the counter. She started opening them up and I know at least 6 of the first boxes were empty. Someone had stoled the cameras out of them.

Where do you think the produce comes from?
Ironically, plenty of the produce for sale in California grocery stores comes from nations south of the border. The quality often spans the bottom of a spectrum.

The citrus in the stores is useful only as projectiles. So I trade my neighbors my avocados for their oranges. And other stuff. I once got six chickens, a good rooster (who I watched attack a raccoon and drive it away) and an old, engine-driven welder for fifty avocados.

California's agricultural abundance includes more than 400 commodities. Over a third of the country's vegetables and two-thirds of the country's fruits and nuts are grown in California. California's top-10 valued commodities for the 2020 crop year are:

I grew up in (formerly) rural areas of California. I don't need a person who only knows farm implements as yard-art upon the manicured lawns of rich liberals to tell me that California agriculture is impressive.

Only pointing out that much of it goes to other states and nations, while Californians are offered crap from south of the border.

Well, you’re obviously part of the problem, like your socialist brothers and sisters.

This last statement speaks directly to Bumbling Biden.
He is failing like no other CinC on every metric they measure his performance on.
