I been trying to get sexually assaulted for years now.

Wander on down this way, we'll make it happen ;) ;) ;)

We have less than others down here. No guards, nothing. People can just wander in and out as they please, and they have.

Also, it's NOT just about this guys car being stolen.

They took his Keys. What's on his key ring? His house key. What's in his car? His registration, his insurance information. What's on that? HIS ADDRESS.

Hope he has something handy to keep himself safe.

I work at that hub. It was done between Midnight and Sunrise sorts. Today we had a guard looking for i.d.'s as you pulled in the drive and then the usual guards in the shack. To the person saying not to use it if it's not safe, that is the only parking lot we have. It has decent lighting and people constantly in and out of it. We will see how long the extra security lasts, but probably not long. I am a woman that works the Sunrise sort and it has defiantly gotten me shaken up. I hope the driver is ok and gets his property back. No ones life is worth a set of keys.

I used to work there. Now I'm at one of it's many "extended centers". I miss working there about as much as I miss having acne. Unfortunately, our managers answer to the same clowns that run that circus. I never felt safe in that parking lot.

This is a horrible incident. I am glad the driver is ok.
As bad as this is, based on the information given, I am going to go ahead and blame the thieves for it. You seem to want to blame UPS.
Maybe UPS could do more. There is a post in the thread indicating they have indeed added security measures to the parking lot, so seems they agree.

I am curious. What exactly do you think UPS should do for this driver? Do you believe UPS owes him a new car? Pain and suffering? What exactly.

Not what im implying at all. To get into this parking lot you have to drive around to the back of the building. That in itself is a design flaw. Pthere should have been a guard there the whole time. There has been numerous break ins and now its come to this. Do I feel tgat Ups should have done something before now? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! Give the employees parking plackards to put in the window, they drive thru and show it to the guard. If you dont have one, you dont get in. What if this would have turned bad and they shot the driver. Guy dead, not considered ups property, what next. There is a thousand things that could have gone wrong with this.

But then you have a body to dispose of.

Are you kidding? You could leave it there, and it'll probly stay for a couple weeks because Supervisors would just assume it's just another lazy union employee lol

It wouldn't become an issue until it started offending their delicate nasal passages :P
