I love it when Democrats freak out over billions, when they are proposing trillions. Hell they’ll fund millions for a single photo that benefits no one.

My point was society is different today than it was even 30 years ago. More pressure, more production, more expectation. The outlook for society and civilization, as a whole, is growing grim.

People haven't changed to meet the pressure.

It is said that a Vietnam jungle combat Vet, to this day, has a higher resting adrenalin level than a non-combatant.

They don’t mix with my lifestyle of working long hours at UPS driving commercial vehicle and I don’t want to deal with the head ache of the legal problems that come from it.
Also most people my age doing drugs are kind of stupid.

Unless Texas changed law recently. A lot of these kids running around with marijuana products like hashish, wax, gummy bears, vape pens, etc. are running around with felony amounts of drugs. It’s not the same as being caught with a joint.
