The highest belt (by highest, I mean closest to the ceiling.....in my building, it's about 25 ft off the ground) has two guys that "pick off / grab" the boxes and throw them down the various slides. Each guy is a "side pick off". Then, about 10 ft off the ground, is another pick off that throws boxes that are still on the belt into the slides / chutes for the various doors. (Atleast this is how things work on the twilight shift in my hub).
