It's sad what this company has turned into. I wish I got to experience this place 20+ years ago when it wasn't all about pleasing the stock holders.A member of my center management was complaining today that they had to buy a cake for tomorrow and that UPS refused to pay for it!
We had a whole lot more management back then and they could actually deliver pkgs and drive a Ford 800 with steering that sucked, 22" high bottom step, straight 6 (300 cu in) motor and 6:56 or lower gears.
It was a different place before the 1997 strike.
Believe me son , it wernt that wonderful even back then. In my almost 40 years its been pretty consistent really. It is what it is ,and it aint going to change. Pleasing the stockholders has been job one for 111 years.
