I've noticed countless times on this forum that when liberals can't respond to logic, they fall back on the same ol' responses....

    1. "You listen to Rush too much!"

    2. "Do you get all your info from Fox News?"

    3. "You didn't vote for Obama? You must be a racist!"

    Anyone care to add more?

    Sounds bout right. :wink2:
Funny thing is, they watch more Fox news, and listen to more Rush than I do.
I think they are secretly in love with the right wing. :happy-very:

    1) Now that Obama is going to be President we should all work together to create a socialist utopia.

    2) You should be ashamed if you want to be successful in America.

    3) Do as I say not as I do.

What, did you want another eight years? (yes)

Oh so you approve of torture. (Not torture, as in what happened to Mcain, but waterboarding, or sleepless nights, or hours of listening to RUSH, yes. (the music group and the EIB GUY)

I think I rather spend 5 yrs in the Hanoi Hilton than listen to Rush and watch Fox News......
Your definition of logic comes into question when Rt Wing Talk, Blog, and News Media plays into the hands of its target audience.
Race, matter of fact does come into play in deep rooted Red States in the South, Appalachian Mtn corridor, and Central and Upper Mid Western white heavily majority states. Just listen to one night of Fox talk radio on satelite radio with Liberal Host Alan Combs and listen to all the bigots on radio grafitti at the end of the show....
Its obvious Obama is not heading towards socialist utopia, so relax. He's forming a more centralist gov't to unite our bi-partisonship that Bush and Co so successfully accomplished. Another legacy BVush can be proud of. So lets get real, Obama will not keep everybody happy, mostly those on the far left and the far right. So why don't we chill and see how this transition plays out...:peaceful:

LOL looks like Diesel just validated all three from O9.5's list. :happy-very:

    Got to add.

    1) Blame Bush for everything.

    2) Killing terrorists is bad, but killing babies is good.

    3) Dismiss all gun owners as red necks.

LOL! Diesel seems to be stuck on number #3. I've seen several (or more) comments from him that seem to suggest that he thinks that everyone in the south are a bunch of rednecks (a real redneck is proud of the title because it means he/she is a hard working individual that doesn't depend on the government) that need guns to shoot at empty beer bottles while they talk about how much they hate anyone that isn't white. The word "bigot" and "redneck (the way people like Diesel use it)" is thrown around alot to paint the false picture that everyone in the south are such. People like Diesel call us "ignorant" and "bigots" but it's ironic because to actually believe that crap just shows how ignorant people like him are. This warped belief clouds the fact that most of the people in the south that didn't vote for Obama didn't because we didn't feel that Obama was qualified for the job. And need I mention his shady past again? Nah.....I guess it's just easier to assume we are all racists.

    1) It's OK to fly in a private jet, unless you are a business owner then it must cause global warming.

    2) Cars do not kill people but SUV's do.

    3) No death penalty for criminals but if you oppose a death penalty for babies you are anti choice.

You mean come out and leave my faithful wife for a Budwieser got me there, thats American Capitalism at it's best.
Seriously Tie, You know I was being sacarstic with the Hanoi Hilton sentence....Don't you?

At least I'm not full of #2......Look BigA, I call it like it is. And I challenge anyone here to dipute the facts, logistics, and voting tendencies of specific pockets of the US. Your dillusional description of my definition of a redneck was entertaining but I'll leave that up to Jeff Foxworthy. At least he's smarter than a 5th grader...:-)wink2:JK). All you really need to do is turn on a CB Radio and listen to Truckers with their heavy southern drawl chit-chat. So I suggest you clean up those empty beer bottles by the keyboard and throw away that old worn out T-shirt with the Confederate flag you wore to the voting

  18. Overpaid Union Thug

Overpaid Union Thug Well-Known Member are assuming that the voting tendencies are based on race. That is your problem. Ignorance.

Based on all of the idiot comments I've read from you about the south I'd have to say I'm right in saying that it's your definition. Not mine.

Southern drawl? Beer bottles? Where do you come up with this crap? Now that doesn't really sound like the "progressive" or "tolerant" or "enlightened" liberals that you people claim to be. In's quite hypocritical.

Diesel. Do yourself, and your family, anyone you are ever in contact with, and the rest of us on this board a favor and get rid of your ignorant misconceptions of the south. Wake up and realize that by pre-judging a group of people based on your warped beliefs is making you out to be worse person than the type of people you claim that most southerners are.

You telling me I'm full of crap is like coming from whiny pigtail freckled face cry baby who's sour over a lost an election, who's in denial of charts, facts and voting tendencies across the US. One is not a racist for pointing out the obvious tendencies. The Country has come along way, but obviously is still divided up like The Union and the Confederate States when it comes to political and racial tendencies. Exit polling also shows a below the Nat'l average disparady for the Dem Obama in the rural mid-Western States as well.

Check out these numbers Tex if you think I'm full of crap: While Obama almost tied McCain among white college grads nationally, McCain destroyed him in Texas among this subgroup, 74%-25%. And while Obama won the suburbs, the Texas ‘burbs broke for McCain, 61%-37%. So what does this all mean? Don’t bet the Bonanza Ranch Hoss that if Obama exceeds expectations his first term he will never win Texas in 2012. So go ahead and keep spreading rumors around your state Obama's a Muslim who wasn't born here and wants to take your gun away.

    And here's a chart of The white vote and the south;

This Bud's for you BiGA, since you like to make up stories of my pre-judged beliefs of the South. I'll let those from your neck of the woods conclude the lopsided trend against the nat'l average election results.

Too bad you can't handle the truth BigA from regional data collected to think for yourself, or are you really that naive. I'm just the messenger, so when a trend unfolds as a result of the elections this year, the data speaks for itself. Sometimes the individuals who points out sensitive conclusions will be accused of racial overtones as well. We've all witnessed you spread lies, rumors, and false claims about Obama for the last 2 years. They have been so transparent, one has to question how that deep seeded hatred got planted.
