How hard is it to become a part-time supervisor? Any qualifications needed?
UPS will train you in every aspect you need to know.

There aren't any qualifications required that should be obvious if you pay attention to any PT/ FT Sup in your building.
I think you need to be a member of Mensa.

I think a felony helps, and a [-]Union[/-] NO t-shirt.
joking aside on the felony, one of our PT sups and a friend were arrested for an armed break-in on a family last year.
Being a PT sup is more or less a demotion, to most people, unless you were looking to leave the company soon.
If you are looking to be promoted, do it the right way and stay union until you are full-time and have some juice. Then stick it to the company for higher pay.
