There isn't now. The oil companies were using horizontal drilling from a central location so that there weren't oil derricks everywhere. Greatly lessened the impact. And were pulling out 800,000 barrels a day.

At this point I'd be happy enough if it was under $2.30. The reality of salaries, equipment, etc makes me think we'll never see sub $2.00 gas again.
Pipelines in and of themselves are not the issue. The issue is the damage they do during construction and installation and the lack of maintenance and oversight.

I'm not sure why people are so focused on rare earth minerals. Batteries aren't as relevant as you think they are.
I consider a government takeover of fossil fuel production to be the destruction of the industry. And that is absolutely the goal.

Well……government control of industry leads to ultimate control. You can load up gas cans and drive anywhere. On an electric grid you can be captured and located. Those companies = jobs so then you are anticipating 40-45Trillion national debt.
