Got my first mailer

    Got my first Propaganda in the mail today. I did notice it said the only way for 2nd class drivers to go above 25% is by creating 3 more full time RPCDs.

    Only 1/4? Well over 1/2 are PT Union members. Minimum wages and no benefits.

    They boast it creates FT jobs for PTers. But most part timers don't want to drive. Heck, a good portion of our PTers in my building don't even drive/have a license.

    I like the part the part that says

    Most of the work the combination drivers will perform is currently being done by part-time employees getting part-time benefits at a reduced wage rate.

    That means 22.4 will work inside more than they drive. I trust the mailer.

    So the hourly guarantee for RPCDs "as long as work is available" will be heavily exploited. "Sorry, RPCD. Have to give the 22.4 his 40!". And there is a way to boost 22.4 above 25% of total drivers. Brilliant.

    And that smart ass part at the end where they talk about relieving RPCDs of overtime: Could've done it with full rate drivers, you sellout :censored2:sticks.

    So where are all of these new Teamsters coming from? In my building when they DQ a new driver they offer them a job as an EAM driver. Then they run bulk or LIB's and misloads and work 12 hours at top driver rate. The old bait and switch.

    The Package Division Director and UPS President of Labor Relations shall be allowed to adjust the limit based on demonstrated service need.
    There is no 25% limit Denise Taylor can change it at anytime

    Do you think the company not going to strip you from all O/t? Or start you late to do late pickups?

    I get my 8 hrs every time I ask for
    I’m not on 9.5 rather I’m happy to work over 9.5 and do O/T
    I work as directed and don’t make decisions out there
    Very rarely I’m in the office
