That's what it's comming down to. No smoking in bars, public places and even parks !
Oh yeah, and no smoking in the car if you have children inside it.
That's already the law....no beaches either. Sometimes, if you are in an attached home, duplex or fourplex, you can't even smoke in your own home.

I still prefer a good knife over a gun most days, my state restrict most purchases to knives under 3 inches, yet I have for years openly carried longer ones . Machetes are not covered under the 3 inch law nor a good butcher knife, but a Buck knife is. I still consider all my weapons only as tools and use them as such.

You have this vision in your head that people pick up their gun daily. Let's see, lived in San Clemente and I haven't touched it for 11 years now.....I know where it is and how to use it. Hubby has cleaned it once in awhile and fired it at a range. Some people and their ideas just crack me up. BOO!

WOW a gun in san clemente! Must be dangerous in your part of the hood!

Give us abreak. Having a gun and not touching it for 11 years shows there is no need to own it in the first place.

Peace.

Prostitution is legal in NV. Get your facts straight.

Prostitution is NOT LEGAL in Nevada. Only in some "counties" learn the difference. Here's a clue and I wont charge you for it.

Nevada is the only U.S. state to allow some legal prostitution, in the form of regulated brothels. Prostitution outside these licensed brothels is illegal.
The brothels are situated in isolated rural areas, and the vast majority of Nevada's population lives in counties where all forms of prostitution are illegal, namely Clark, Washoe, Douglas, and Lincoln counties, and Carson City (an independent city). The other counties allow brothels, but some of these counties currently have no active brothels (brothels are in operation in only 8 counties); as of June/July 2008 there were 28 legal brothels in Nevada.

Peace.

Thank you for providing proof of what you claim. OH WAIT, you just proved what you said is not TRUE.

Granted prostitution is only legal in certain counties. Here is a freebie for you....those counties are IN NEVADA, Nevada is IN the USA.

From your proof that prostitution is not legal in Nevada, USA :

"as of June/July 2008 there were 28 legal brothels in Nevada."

Now I see why you are so reluctant to post "proof" of anything you claim to be true, it makes it too hard for you to twist.

I've had a meat slicer that I haven't touched for 5 years. Am I mandated to give that some lesser soul because I am not using it? No wonder these guys hang out down here in Currents. It's a side show with you involved. What will it(TOS) do next? No one knows because there is never any rhyme or reason to it. The TOS train wreck. You can't stop watching once you start. The mindless hilarity of it.

Huh? It's not legal in the whole state, but some counties have the right to supersede the state's laws? That's what your words say. Hitting that pipe hard, again?

It is not uncommon for counties within a state to superseded the laws of that state. I was stationed for four years in Lubbock, TX. Lubbock TX is the county seat of Lubbock County, which at the time I was there was a dry county. That's right--you couldn't buy alcohol anywhere within Lubbock County. There was an area just outside the county called The Strip which allowed alcohol sales--heck, they had drive-thru package stores.

They were either grandfathered, or received special dispensation from the state.
I have been in a dry county before, Dave.

So, If you go to Nevada, to these certain counties, then Prostitution is legal in Nevada because you would be in the state of Nevada..............
It's still Nevada.
In your own post it says........."Nevada is the only U.S. state to allow some legal prostitution."
