I think I read up to "C" and grew bored with the fearful hysteria that seems so comforting for so many. It makes me secure in knowing that while I see no need to take away people's guns, reulating them makes all the sense in the world.

AMERICA'S HUNTERS --- Pretty Amazing!



The world's largest army...America's hunters! I had never thought about this....



A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:



There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin. Allow me to restate that number:



Over the last several months Wisconsin 's hunters became the eighth largest army in the world.



More men under arms than in Iran.



More than France and Germany combined.



These men deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.



That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan 's 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely.



Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world .... And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states .. It's millions more.



The point?



America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower.



Hunting -- it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security.

That's why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Even Japan deferred invading the US mainland because of the number of gun owners back in the '40s.

Overall it's true so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don't possess the same skills as soldiers the question would still remain, what army of 2 million would want to face 30, 40, 50 million armed citizens.



Don't ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns, for the sake of our freedom.

3 people were stabbed, at 2 different locations (1 being outside a bar, the other just on the streets).
No one has life threatening injuries. But, when I seen that report, if this would have been any American city, atleast 1 of those confrontations would have been a shooting and someone killed.

I hate to say it, but anybody with young grown ups, that can legally party and go to a bar, you can only hope that no one takes out a gun outside the bar.

On another note, the US should have the lowest crime rate in history this year, since they had a record of gun sales last year.
Lets find out after the year is over if more gun sales add up to less crimes !

You quote all this crap yet you don't clarify the details. You use this to support your theories and yet you can't qualify the parameters. So here, let me help you. Let's take the bar incident. If this had happened in the U.S. (as you are so blithely capable of pointing out) and I had been involved this is what would have happened. I have a CCW. I can legally conceal/carry a gun in a bar IF the bar owner allows it. What I cannot do legally is drink in a bar while carrying a gun. So, if some drunk wants to pull a knife on me he is going to be shot, dead. I won't miss. As long as I have not been drinking then it will be considered self defense. If I have been drinking, then at the very least it would be manslaughter (no premeditation) and federal firearms charges. Do you seriously think I would be that STUPID as to drink in a bar while carrying (either open or concealed). Pull your head out of your ass and start breathing some fresh air. You are lacking a great deal of oxygen.

I never said anything about it happening inside or outside the bar. I was following your theory. Your lack of intelligent posts = your lack of intelligence.

Even if it did happen outside the bar you have no proof that the knives were not brought into the bar. Knives can easily escape detection. Even if they did get the knives after leaving the bar, it would certainly be investigated to determine if the bar (drinking or not) was a factor.

Allegedly, this was a Canadian incident (your words) and yet you ALWAYS turn this around to being an American problem.

German ships and U-Boats sunk Canadian ships just off the Newfoundland coast, before you (the US) even entered the war.

Mind you Hawaii is still a big milage away from mainland USA.
