Something to ponder: would we care what he thought? We didn't care what Nixon thought after he left the presidency. Rarely ask "Wonder what 'W' thinks." Even less what his father thinks. Bill Clinton is more visible because of his foundation and his prominent wife. Honestly, I think Washington's name would be dropped when politically expedient to one side or the other and mostly ignored as a dottering old man.

And so amazing that all the hubbub focusing on the 2012 race which has so many ridiculous candidates. Not one is someone who gives a #^@# about our constitution or true direction of our country. Mitt, Newt, Obama? Really?
Oh, they care. But caring doesn't pay for a campaign. Fact is, I think with the money and powers that be, there will only be marginal differences no matter who is elected. Follow the money. It never lies.
I dont think they do care really. I think they are so caught up in the game that they dont have time to act on anything they do care about.
