In the central it is 6 in 6 months. Typical management misdirection. SMHIt isn't 6 absences in 6 months. Sounds like your wife is feeding you some lines.
Bologna he's telling them that. If a manager is going to make an example of someone he doesn't go screaming about it. You just do it.
Again, I'm calling BS. It sounds to me she just doesn't like the guy, and the fact that she has extra scrutiny for the first time in her time here is a major buzz kill. Especially because it means she now has to show up for work until the warning letter clears from her record.
I thought wives were supposed to be the my poor baby people, not the husbands.
Well I'm not in the central so SHOVE ITIn the central it is 6 in 6 months. Typical management misdirection. SMH
Ridiculous, simply ridiculous! So we're going to focus on attendance and not the harassment?
Brown brotherhood strong!

Well maybe if you weren't all so softYou are just making the OP's point suit. Blatant harassment
If the attendance policy is 6 absences in 6 months why is she being written up for 5?
Why is the center manager tell drivers he "is going to make an example of her?"
Why is the supervisor telling her she can't drink water while working but the other team members get to eat full lunches while they work?
Double standards
If she's gonna be there long better help her get used to them
That's my mottoIf it wasn't for double standards there would be no standards at all.
That's my motto

Different areas have different rules. Tie boy doesn't seem to understand that.spend less time oppressing the hard working union members and more time reading up on the contractOut west I believe it's 6 in 9 months. Though you usually don't get talked to till #8 or 9
It shows a pattern of favoritism that ruins camaraderie amongst the workers. Classic divided and conquer mentality employed by management scum. To kept us downOverall, it doesn't matter about another persons attendance.
The whole "it got printed off" at your wife's work and somehow you've seen it , is questionable to me.
I don't think it should be anyone's business or concern with coworkers.
It only leads to problems.
Especially when people say so and so gets paid more than me with less seniority or responsibilities.
It's like... how the eff do you know what someone else makes?
Just be happy with yourself.
And don't compare to others.
But back on topic.
Everyone is different.
It doesn't matter if she's one of the long lasting originals that haven't been replaced..."yet" I say yet, because it sounds like she might want to be replaced?
She shouldn't give any reason to be fired attendance and punctuality is a must.
Period.
This job is so fast paced 5-10 minutes late really effects the whole process.
Maybe she's just trying to be let go to collect unemployment?
Who knows.
But if she's been there forever than she should know better.
Show up early and work hard and do well.
