I wonder if Obama would have said the same thing about his birth certificate issue "Put up or shut up" if that would have satisfied those birthers ?
Maybe Romney should "Put up" ! ?

He has already given 2010's returns and 2011 are being finished (he had an extension)....................he isn't even the "official" candidate yet......not until convention, so he doesn't have to do diddly squat!!

moreluck, Romney has not given his complete 2010 tax return. He has not shown his 2010 FBAR form. That form would give details of his Swiss bank account, and specifically show if he took amnesty for dodging taxes in prior years.

As Romney said, "One year could be a fluke, perhaps done for show, and what mattered in personal finance was how a man conducted himself over the long haul." That was George Romney though. What a difference a generation makes.

Reid and Pelosi and about 75% of congress has foreign investments and foreign bank accounts. You act like it's illegal.

Nope, it's not illegal unless you don't pay the proper taxes on it. Never mind that the extremely wealthy have a different set of rules to dodge taxes with that is not available to 'you people'.

If Romney would even release his 2010 FBAR form, we'd know the answer to that question.

Stop saying he's released one year of taxes when he hasn't.

For the record, I believe Romney when he says he's paid a lot of taxes, I'm just not so sure they have been income taxes.

Moreluck,

It's clearly a formality...is anyone else going to be the Republican candidate?

When he's officially the candidate, is that when he releases his tax returns?
When he's an official candidate, then he will do what the rules say he has to do.

"It's clearly a formalty that your jail sentence doesn't start for a month, but we'll lock you up now. " How would that be?

It's a formality, but are you eligible to vote?" Oh, nevermind, just go ahead and mark the ballot.

Formalities are important!

How do you think everyone found out about bank accounts and other things if he didn't put it out there for them to see???

Dear girl, bless your sweet little heart. Poor old Willard never exactly said what he did with that Swiss bank account. The FBAR would show that.

Never mind the $100 million in his IRA. The guy knows how to skim off the top, I'll give him that.

This is like "de ja vu all over again" !! (thanks, Yogi)

The unions are jumping on board with Reid just like all the Dems. jumped on board with the occupy people and they've been back-pedaling ever since.

Your contracts can all go to hell because the unions are too busy trying to get a loser re-elected. Priorities.

Via Huff Po:
Workers Voice, the super PAC of the AFL-CIO, is supporting Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the fight over Mitt Romney’s tax returns.
The super PAC announced plans on Monday to ramp up efforts calling on the presumptive Republican presidential nominee to release more tax returns. The largest union-affiliated super PAC, Workers Voice launched a petition where anyone can sign and back up the recent charge led by Reid. The group also plans to add the tax return issue to its protests outside of Romney campaign events.

Last week, Reid ignited a firestorm when he told The Huffington Post that Romney didn’t pay taxes for a period of 10 years. Since then the Senate Majority Leader has stood by his claims, which he says are built on information from an anonymous Bain Capital investor. Romney responded by denying the allegations and telling Reid to “put up or shut up.”

All MITTENS has to do to prove that REID is a liar, is to produce his taxes for the last 10 years and REID would get thrown out of office, but we all know that isnt going to happen.

MITTENS wont talk about the claim directly, instead, he has the RNC spokeshole making comments and John Sununu calling names.

MITTENS will have this story hanging over his head like an anvil.

Peace

I think we need to start a thread for a petetion for Mitt to release his tax returns.
This is just 1 for Arizona residents, but many more out there.

Investigate Mitt Romney's Tax Returns and Olympics Contracts
Greetings,
I just signed the following petition addressed to: Joe Arpaio.

----------------
Investigate Mitt Romney's Tax Returns and Olympics Contracts

In response to the calls of 250 people you have launched an investigation into President Obama's birth certificate.

You did this even though President Obama is not now, nor has he ever been, a resident of Arizona. Since the precedent has been set for the Maricopa County Sheriff's office to investigate potential fraudulent activity on the part of U.S. Presidents and Presidential candidates, we ask that you investigate Mitt Romney's taxes and the contracts associated with the 2002 SLC Olympics.

We believe that Mitt Romney may be hiding criminal activities in his unreleased tax returns. We also believe that contracts issues while Mitt Romney was the CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee may have involved self-dealing or provided favoritism to businesses in which Bain Capital or one of its subsidiaries was financially invested. We believe that if Mitt Romney is hiding criminal activities he should not be qualified for the seat of the United States Presidency.

We respectfully request that you investigate these items. We are concerned citizens of both Arizona on the United States of America.

Thanks,
----------------

Sincerely,
[Your name]

[h=1]Senate Democrats Plan to Adjourn Without Passing Budget for Third Consecutive Year[/h]
[h=2]Democrats are set to adjourn the Senate after three years of not passing a budget and with no plans to avert a fiscal cliff. And on the 1,240th day since Senate Democrats adopted a budget, Republican leaders in the Senate on Thursday assailed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senate Democrats for their failures, promising to pass a budget if voters put them in the majority after November.[/h]
