It would be interesting to see how many of the people who fall out in the heat are 20-30 years or more drivers. I would bet very few because they usually know not to drink Red Bull, how to stay hydrated and if worst comes to worse, they know when to stop and find somewhere to recuperate before things get too far. And most are used to not having anyone hold their hands.

Drivers doing this job 3 years above know this.

Ups says they have spent 260 million dollars on this issue. Again good journalism asks - maybe its WHERE your spending the money on this issue that’s the problem. How about hiring more drivers setting some of that money aside for future package trucks having better ventilation etc..

It's mostly on management salaries for them to take online training courses and the hourly time in PCM covering the topic. That's the bulk of the $260M. If you are expecting actual equipment....maybe a fan and the time it takes the mechanic to install...but certainly not on anything that actually helps.

Right that’s where they are choosing to use this money.

I dont see how difficult it is to bring your own cooler with half ice and the rest water and replenish during the day........if the temp and humidity is above a certain point that day should not be counted...where is the common sense of the employee, teamsters and company dealing with this terrible situation......global warming will continue on being such a problem.....

I would change the ups uniform color to a lighter color during summer months....lighter sneakers as well .......shorter haircuts too.....

Shocking! Heat during summer?

Open the back door and again take the readings. What fool stays in the back with the doors closed?

Heat wrongly blamed...

"He had a massive stroke on the 19th.

Most common causes of stroke in the young:
...small holes in the two atria
...dissecting blood vessel in the neck
...clotting disorder
...drug use and alcohol consumption

Vaccine injury can cause those as well

It’s sad to see when the little sheep jump at each edited “news” story, then run to their nearest social media outlet, post it and try to identify the other little sheep who jump on their bandwagon and get themselves all worked up because “people are dying out there”…

Those little sheep are so easily manipulated and they are so dumbstruck because they think they’re actually performing some “service”.
In actuality, they’re only being further brainwashed. But now they believe their lives have meaning and purpose. Pretty lame.
