What area are you in? I drove the last 2 peaks and I'm waiting to go driving again. Have you worked any preload or been an air driver at all?

Without giving too much away i'm in the northeast. I drove for maybe 3 weeks this past peak, have not worked preload or as an air driver. My center seems to be going through alot of people lately between retirements and whatever else. 6 driver spots were open after peak.

Memorize the DOK. Make your commits on time. I work in a densely populated area so I used to walk around my training route during lunch. The rural/suburban routes you might want to drive around. You can get the manifest from your center. Most importantly, work safely. You can overcome a lot of errors (if they want you to succeed), but accidents are automatic dqs.
