When I transfered to my new center some of the older guys thought they'd give me a big talk about how things are done.

When I had my rural route, I would quickly figure out where my chasers worked or what kind of cars they drove. With their permission I would indirect their stuff as per their direction.

I would save as much as 40-50 miles per day not running off chasers.

The 40-50 was not the norm, which was closer to 10-20 miles saved. There were also days when I would have every single chaser and not be able to get rid of any of them.

It's not a software problem; in fact, if is better that it does show up.

A missed that is run off later that day is much easier to explain than a business that was sheeted as closed before 5.

Higher ups don't care WHY it's on the report, just that it's on there. Circumstance doesn't matter.

From what I've been told, Damage automatically pays a claim, where if sheeted missed, the damage clerk can make that decision.
