My pickup route has been quite busy this week. That plus mis-sort deliveries has been mighty stressful. I’m almost imagining a future without FedEx and not minding too much.

It makes sense peak was only heavy the last few days at express, that's when the service almost becomes a requirement if you are a last minute shopper. People though are learning to plan ahead instead of paying for a service that otherwise isn't needed for non perishable gifts. UPS, ground or the post office working Sunday?

Might have been the easiest Peak since I've worked at FedEx. We were fully staffed, had great weather and freight was on time. Most of us were sent home today after the sort since we were caught up and there wasn't much to do.
Get ready for the screws to tighten like they always do after Christmas. I have a feeling it's going to be on steroids this year.
