Items that can be owned are paid for with cash (house & cars). Monthly bills are figured for the year in January, & paid in advance. Except for food & gas, I live free all year.

Usually it is that or a few grand off, so in reality, that 0% interest cost you a couple grand.
When I bought my wife a new car last year.
They gave me a nice rebate, for not taking the zero interest.

I actually saved money by paying the interest on the life of the loan.
The rebate was almost double of what I would have paid in interest.
I make my car payment weekly and pay a little extra.

I am way ahead of the game on that purchase.

I took the time to look,at the cost of money.
