How long have you been retired?

3 years, 7 months and loving it! The driver that took over on my route of 25 yrs. still calls me for some inside info on where he can indirect some residentials.

3 years 7 months here as well. I guess driver who has my route still calls it "my route". I had the same basic route my whole time there, 27 years.

Figured. I spent two months off before I was officially retired.

Was about 6 weeks for me.

CONGRATULATIONS! At first it will feel like vacation, then a long vacation, then WOWSWERS I'm RETIRED!

I actually cried my first week!

I'm over half way there. Worked 30 ---retired 16+. We have a guy whos been retired 27 years and still is in good health so I'm sure he will make the magic number.

My goal is the check that pushes me over $1 million. Which is 8 years and 5 more months. Providing the pension doesn't run into any problems. Currently is being well managed and funded well.

4 yrs 9 months 28 years of service. Have never it missed for a second.
