That's the really important thing. Glad he's doing better.
Good luck on the truck.
Yeah, that was the important thing.
Im thinking its a fair trade. The numbers are in line with what it cost to fix -what I should have got on trade. But im still driving it and havent signed a thing. Guess we will worry about it Saturday.

I would think they could, but seems they dont. Anyone in pain is treated like a junkie. He needs to get a referral to a pain clinic, (even though treated by very same pain specialist in hosp), he must go to his primary care physician for no other reason than to get a referral and after the injections at the last one that hurt him worse than he was, he is rather apprehensive.

No wonder our health care system is so confusing. And expensive, required, unnecessary trips to primary care. Big crock of crap.

While we know this case is not fluid related, when you do check the trans fluid, it should be deep red. Not brown. If it is not red, you have or will have a problem.

Toon, good to get back home, I know.

You can get a brand new one now cheaper than you can a lot of 2005-7's. Too many people are way upside down.

I agree. I had a really bad Aamco experience. I drove a truck there with a tranny issue. They fixed it and 31 days later the tranny blew apart on the road. Keep in mind I DROVE it there in the first place. I will never go to an Aamco again.

Of course, this was 25 years ago....

Holding a grudge, are we..............
Set yourself free, let go of that 25 yr. old baggage.

Im way upside down in this one, but might as well be buried in a newer one, than in an older one! I never checked the fluid, He does all that. He said he checked it right before our trip at Christmas. I gave up doing the auto maintenance when I got married. :smart:It was just one of those things, it was time to blow.

Alot of that referral crap is the insurance company doing, which doesn't make sense but they think we shouldn't see a specialist until our primary says we need to. IT just cost them more money.

And that time you blew then and now, was, is, and will be worth every minute!
