I find it very greedy that UPS would not want to match 401K contributions to promote healthy retirement. What kind of company doesn't match? This was the whole point of a 401K plan.

Show me a Company that gives you a defined pension and matches your 401K.

And no, this is not the whole point.

The whole point is to save tax free until you retire. You build up your retirement quicker and save some on taxes now.
