If UPS Did Offer a Buyout....

If UPS was to offer a buyout, what $ amount would pesuade you to make this your last week? Would it be a flat amount, or a specific $ amount for each year on the payroll?
I am not really too sure myself.

Sure but only those who would otherwise be eligible to retire would start receiving their pension payments.

Yeah of course but how many would take the buyout and say good I can pay off my house and vehicles or whatever with that way I can retire. And please don't act like we don't all know 35+ year employees who still have plenty of debt.

There was a 30+ year driver here a while ago who continued to work as he was helping his kid pay for college. He took exception when I told him that he needed to think about himself first and that his kid should pay his own way through school.
