In an effort to improve the value we provide to our customers, FedEx Ground will discontinue FedEx International Ground® service to Puerto Rico, effective May 15, 2009. After that date, customers can direct all Puerto Rico shipments to the FedEx Express® network. in an effort to improve HAHAHAA..

This was always outscored in Puerto Rico anyway! Learn your facts first, it was never a division on RPS INC or FEDEX Ground Package System!

Empty cans can be put on and off drybed trailers with forklifts

Right. I've seen Ground move Express several ways. First, empty cans as you mention in a dry van. Second, bulk-loaded P2, also in a dry van. Third, unmarked leased roller trailers with loaded cans. I took a lot of crap (and still do) because they had Ground-logoed trailers with roller-bed floors that quickly disappeared once people started asking questions.

Express moves Ground to various locations, particularly Alaska, on FedEx aircraft....in containers.
